Allana Alexander, Esq.
During her time at one of the nation's busiest District Attorney's Office, Ms. Alexander quickly rose through the ranks and earned the title of Senior Trial prosecutor. There she prosecuted hundreds of cases and was involved in all aspects of prosecution from arraignment through trial. Her experience as a former Brooklyn prosecutor has allowed her to successfully defend our clients facing criminal charges as she brings a unique perspective in the evaluation of a case and the implementation of case strategy.
Prior to her employment at the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office Ms. Alexander worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York at the New York City Law Department where she handled personal injury matters involving multi-million dollar lawsuits. Her litigation skills both inside and outside of the courtroom has ensured that her clients receive vigorous, zealous and aggressive representation in all matters. Her trial skills have further earned her the position of Adjunct Professor of Law at her Alma Mater, Fordham University School of Law, where she teaches the lawyers of tomorrow how to prepare for trials in the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy program.
Ms. Alexander is the principal attorney at our office. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and the Federal courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is a Board Member of the Kings County Criminal Bar Association, a member of Metropolitan Black Bar Association, New York State Association of Criminal Defenders, Association of Black Women Attorneys and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
